Installation Tips and Guidelines:

A. Measure the height of your plenum space from the sub-floor to the bottom of the stringer. Note: Horizontal scores are spaced 1" apart.

Example: If raised floor height measures 10-1/2" high, separate PLENAFORM baffle at 11" and flex material for a snug fit.

B. Separate PLENAFORM baffles at desired height.
Tip: Folding first at desired height facilitates separation.

C. To attach horizontal
PLENAFORM baffles together, pop out corresponding holes every 6" on adjacent baffles as shown.

D. Join PLENAFORM baffles together with quick-snap nylon screw rivets to create your under-floor partition.

Firmly depress screw head with thumb pressure till it is flush with washer head for a tight system assembly. Screws rivets may be easily removed with the PF-111-4 X head screwdriver (see parts list to order) or a 1/8" flat head screwdriver may also be used.

(Note: the rivets are not a Phillips head even though they look like it.)

E. Attach
PLENAFORM baffles to pedestals with cable ties by popping out corresponding holes every 6" on adjacent baffles as shown. Trim off excess cable ties. Installation complete.

Estimated time to install  a 24" high 50 ft. run: 2 people x 2 hours *

* actual times may vary depending on sub-floor conditions

It's a snap to install!

Installation tip: pre-stage and pop-outs rivets prior to removing any floor tiles by aligning  baffles with the floor grid (don't forget to allow for the 1-1/2" overlap of baffle joinery).

Even the most difficult penetrations by conduit, cables and power feeds can be accommodated.

Installation tip: Pre-stage baffle cutouts in congested areas prior to placing under the floor. Patch smaller sections in difficult situations.

Where cables, conduit, fiber trays, seismic bracing, etc. extend through baffle, cut out with scissors as closely as possible to allow passage.
